Art for living room & my Mission

Art for living room: and making your living space mean more to you.

We currently live in a world drowning in mass produced, disposable ‘stuff’. Items produced at speed, and quantity over quality with the products available to us.

Life can reflect the way that you think; so, how about furnishing a world where what you buy brings a more lasting joy? With well crafted items of thoughtful, meaningful art (both wearable and for the home)? Objects that keep your intentions, or the things that inspire you, at the forefront of your mind? Items you can meditate on, be put in mind of daily intentions – whilst also providing a soul-soothing beauty, to keep you in the present moment?

Well, this is what I do – and with a happy heart! I help lovers of well crafted, more personal art get the kind of items they really want in to their living room – to enhance their personal lifestyle. Art inspired by nature and the human spirit.

Experience

Hello, it is so good to see you on my website! My name is Fiona Bowen, and I have been wire weaving for a decade, now (at the time of writing: 2021). Although, I have been art making for much longer – off and on through my 55 years (yikes!) on this earth.

So, as you can see, I have many years behind me perfecting and honing my own personal artist skillset. (Well, there’s gotta be some benefits to getting older!)

Furthermore, anyone who knows me can tell you… I am a creative nut! When my artist nature takes over, I can become obsessed with perfecting a project; and can completely ‘lose’ myself in its creation. This not only results in a work I am satisfied with, but it builds high skill level, ensuring craftsmanship for you.

Also, I must admit, I take great pride in pioneering a brand-new art form: transforming waste CD and DVD material. I turn it into what I refer to as CD Mosaics on canvas. Could you get on board and be part of blazing a trail for a new, exciting art form?

Finally, my love for art making is a two-way love, though. I exercise a natural need in me to create art but what makes it really come alive, what makes it really worth doing, is when the final piece finds its loving home. When a piece finds its place in someone’s life. There is no better feeling for an artist!

conclusion

Many, many private commissions down the road, I have seen that, even though people’s tastes can vary widely in terms of e.g. colour and style, they all have one thing in common: they appreciate good craftsmanship in a beautiful art object that brings them personal joy.

Now, I don’t have a certificate showing my particular artist skills – I have something even better; I have all the accolade I could ever want in the testimonials, reviews and return happy clients for private commissions. My client care track record shows that you are always kept in mind.
